Het KIN: RE-ROOTING: Indigenous Perspectives & Just Transitions

Re-rooting is a co-created documentary and dialogue initiative exploring what the energy transition might look like if guided by Indigenous principles. Developed through collaboration among Myra Colis, Anna Melnyk, Laure Herpain and the Indigenous Liberation Month × Just Transitions Network, the project brings Indigenous knowledge, academic research, artistic practice and lived experience into dialogue. Through storytelling and collective reflection, Re-rooting explores reciprocity, responsibility, intergenerationality and interconnectedness as pathways toward more just climate action. Each screening is accompanied by facilitated dialogue on climate justice, decoloniality, technology and sustainability.
